Creating a profile does not mean that Servio guarantees that a provider is qualified, licensed, insured, DBS-checked, accredited or otherwise suitable for a particular service.

Providers are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to their services, including where applicable:
Providers must not advertise or provide a service through Servio if they are not legally entitled or appropriately qualified to provide it.
Customers may submit booking requests through Servio.

Where provider acceptance is required, the booking is not confirmed until the provider accepts it through the Platform.
Servio does not guarantee that a provider will accept a particular booking.
The service provider is responsible for providing the booked service.

Servio currently charges a 15% platform commission on applicable bookings.
The exact calculation and distribution of the payment may depend on the payment arrangement used by Servio and Stripe.

Users should not upload unnecessary sensitive personal information through Servio. This includes, unless Servio specifically introduces a lawful process for collecting it:

Users must not claim that Servio has verified a DBS check or other qualification unless Servio expressly confirms this.
Servio is not designed for children to create accounts independently.
A person must not create an account or provide personal information on behalf of a child unless they are legally entitled to do so.
Providers remain responsible for complying with safeguarding and other legal requirements applicable to child-related services.
Servio may introduce verification processes in the future.
Unless Servio expressly states that a provider has been verified, users should not assume that the provider has been independently verified, DBS-checked, professionally accredited or insured by Servio.
Customers should make appropriate checks themselves where necessary.
Servio’s name, branding, design, software and other proprietary materials belong to Servio or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit Servio’s proprietary materials without permission.
Users remain responsible for content they upload.
By uploading content such as profile information, photographs, descriptions or reviews, you give Servio permission to store, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Platform.
Servio will use reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available.
However, we cannot guarantee that the Platform will always be:
